D.A. Fashion was established as an award-winning studio specializing in custom fashion dolls and couture doll clothing.

​After graduating high school, I studied fashion design and found that fashion dolls provided a focused, portable medium for detailed couture work. I began customizing Barbie dolls in 1993 and later concentrated on Gene and Tonner dolls, where my work became recognized for its construction, fit, and intricate hand beading.
Those same techniques now inform my current passions.

Today, D.A. Fashion offers handmade jewelry, with a focus on detailed beadwork. D.A. Fashion does not operate on a traditional production schedule and does not offer ongoing collections. Instead, I create very limited pieces. Custom requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Beading exists across cultures worldwide. However, distinctly Indigenous beadwork styles belong to Indigenous artists and communities. Native-made beadwork is one of my favorite art forms, and when clients are seeking work in those specific styles, I am happy to refer them directly to Indigenous artists. I do not sell Indigenous-style pieces.

I am no longer producing dolls or doll fashion for sale. Doll work is now limited to my personal collection and is not offered commercially.

Outside of my studio work, I value faith, family, and home life. I currently share my life with my cat, Sharkbait, my golden retriever, Starla, and my Umbrella Cockatoo, Cass, also known as CassTheStinkyChicken.
